Description

We’ve hand picked a selection of spring themed sensory bases, felt balls and shapes to make sensory play even easier. Simply tip into your tray add the felt loose parts and any others that your want and let the play commence.

Children can learn about texture, colour, practice fine motor skills, critical thinking and enhance their sensory development all whilst playing with these open ended resources.

These bundles work brilliantly with our wooden tongs and scoops, or wooden animals or peg dolls.

Bundle includes:

1 x 250g re-sealable bag of pastel chickpeas
1 x 250g re-sealable bag of meadow rice
1 x 200g re-sealable bag of yellow sand
3 x felt hearts/stars in spring colours
3 x large felt balls in spring colours
3 x mini felt balls in spring colours
1 x reusable canvas bag for storing felt shapes and balls

All sensory base products are made in the UK. The felt balls and shapes are made by an sustainable co-operative in Nepal.

This product is suitable for children aged 3 years+. Adult supervision is required at all times when playing with this product due to small parts. This product contains raw foods which may look tasty but must not be consumed.

Either add all the sensory bases to a play tray or keep them separate. Then add the felt shapes and balls. Add tools such as tongs and tweezers and lets the play commence. This is great for those little ones who are really into tipping and pouring (add bowls and jugs)

How about adding some of the different sensory bases to a bottle to make a shaker or hide little trinkets in it to make a hide and find bottle.

Could you carry out any science experiments? – which bases go through a colander or which move the fastest

Have a conversation about colour and texture and see your little ones language develop.

Use with a tea set to make  ‘drinks’ and ‘cakes’ – this would be really fun with bun cases or a muffin tin

Can you add a dumper truck to the bases and help move them from one container to the other – this is great for transitional play
