Who We Are
Little Ones is a children’s toy store based in Stowmarket, Suffolk. Our shop has loads of open ended resources and toys for all children . Our small, local business in Stowmarket, Suffolk is owned and operated by proud mum Emily and her mum Hilary.
We believe in curious, imaginative, creative, gender neutral, fun, happy, free independent play. Our mission as a company is to always provide creative resources and toys that meet these criteria whilst being kind to the planet.

Our company ethos is to curate handmade children’s resources and toys from suppliers that are kind to the environment, people and resources. Little Ones supplies planet friendly resources and toys from ethically-minded producers that are aligned with our company ethos.
Our products help stimulate the imagination of toddlers and older children alike (or anyone who enjoys creative playtime!) The beauty of the products we stock are that they facilitate learning through play, the best way to learn.
Why Choose Us
We’re a mother and daughter duo who are passionate about the power of play for all children. After having trouble finding the kind of resources and toys we believed would lead to open ended and heuristic play we decided to start our own shop.
We’ve worked hard and continue to do so to find toys which are as planet friendly as possible while always ensuring our resources will help children think critically, develop independence, promote cognitive flexibility and social awareness and will keep children playing throughout childhood and beyond
We love supporting small businesses in our day-to-day life, and this philosophy is at the heart of Little Ones. Wherever possible, we source our products from other small UK-based businesses or through independent sellers and toymakers. We believe there is no Planet B and we need to do all we can to protect the one we’ve got. Therefore we try to be as sustainable as possible, avoiding single use plastic , reusing and recycling packaging, sourcing products ethically and providing toys and resources which are durable and can become heirloom toys to pass onto future generations.
